Last Thursday, each candidate vying in the Nov. 4 Nassau County general election had the opportunity to stop by the My Nassau Sun office to film exclusive videos for MyNassauSun.com and jacksonville.activote.com.

Each candidate was asked three questions, some submitted by readers and others generated by the My Nassau Sun staff. The same questions were asked of the candidates that ran in the recent primaries, and candidates in the same race received the same questions. The candidates were informed of the questions before the videos were filmed.

Qualifying for local, county and district races began at noon Monday and ends at noon Friday for offices to be voted on in the Aug. 26 primary and Nov. 4 general election. For qualifying results in surrounding counties, click here.
